You’ve been suffering from a bedroom mismatch disorder. Your huge pillow is squeezed inside a queen pillow case. Your yellow duvet cover reveals a purple polka-dot duvet. And underneath it is a floral green bedsheet. Unless you’re aiming to put in all the colors of the rainbow in it, your bed’s a total disaster.
Here’s a simple solution: but beddings that come in a set, something like the bed-in-a-bag beddings sold at department stores. Start small with plain designs or simple patterns. If you do want to mix and match but are not sure which colors go together, you may want to get a color swatch from your fabric store and use it to put together a look that complements well.
