With Christmas just around the corner people are again making plans on how to celebrate the most joyous of all seasons. We think of gifts to give and food to prepare. But the first thing that occupies us really has something to do with Christmas decor. We take out our big boxes of décor and lights. We check which ones we can still use. We also make more frequent trips to the mall to check on new designs and styles.

This year might be a little different for some people. With the downturn in the economy we can expect a different kind of Christmas in 2009. Surely, there will be the usual merry making and laying the table with goodies. Santa Claus will still be around to deliver gifts. But people will be more budget conscious. They will be looking for ideas for Christmas décor and gifts that are pocket friendly.
