People from all walks of life love snow globes as they give a feeling of cheer to each one of us. The snow globe started in France wherein they had the design of the Eiffel Tower. They even served the purpose of being a paper weight. They spread into Europe and had more designs of figurines, clocks, medals, dolls, and even religious figures in snow globes became a part of the altar at home. As they became popular, it was decided to make them upscale. Designs became intricate, music boxes and figurines were added. To date, musical snow globes are becoming even more popular and can be collector’s items. I myself enjoy having them at home especially during Christmas time as they bring the Christmas spirit alive.
