Inhaling the smell of burning incense can be a very relaxing experience. Aside from using candles, many aromatherapy enthusiasts incorporate incense in their calming rituals. There have been studies that indicate incense’s effectiveness in reducing anxiety and stress. The sense of smell, after all, is very powerful and can influence the subconscious on a certain level.
