cornbread skillets
One of my fondest memories ever is spending dinner with my family eating home cook meal with freshly baked cornbread. My mom is a great cook. When I was of age, I helped her out in the kitchen. I do it not because it was a chore but because I loved to learn her cooking secrets. I even remember the first meal I ever did. It was cornbread. I cooked it using one of our many cornbread skillets.
Now as an adult, I still make a mean cornbread. The trick to making good cornbread is in the skillet. I’ve tried lots of cornbread skillets and my favorite are those made with cast iron. Cast iron skillet produces evenly cooked cornbread. It is guaranteed to make a light crust and sweet and moist inside.
