food storage
Be a wise and money-savvy shopper. Make sensible food storage a common, everyday activity. Although it requires an initial investment to stock a pantry, it will eventually become an economical, convenient, and reliable food storage and preparation system.
Rotate your food such that older products are used before the new ones. Practice the “first in, first out” principle. Keep the new items at the back of the pantry. You may also want to keep a marker on the shelf to put dates on cans and packages when you put them away. Doing this makes it easy to immediately see what needs to be used first.
