When my husband and I were opening our wedding gifts, we expected to receive at least one blender or coffee maker. We never got one. Instead we got two juice makers. I like both coffee and fruit juices so I was glad we got at least one. I like starting my day with a warm cup of brewed coffee. When I don’t have my coffee in the afternoon, I take it after lunch.

I also like to drink coffee at night after dinner. I don’t mind skipping dessert and going for coffee instead. I like having coffee over conversation. After a few months, I decided to buy myself a coffee maker. Unfortunately, my husband does not like coffee. So these days I take my coffee in the evenings on the balcony as I read my book. It has become my “quiet time for myself” at the end of the day.
