Why Use a Wine Decanter?
The best time to drink wine is when it is newly opened. The air reacts to the fermented liquid, causing some sort of reaction that brings out the best flavors of the wine. Of course, if the wine is aerated too much, it loses its richness. Whenever I have some leftover wine from the bottle, I transfer it to one of my wine decanters. This way I can keep the wine sealed and locking the flavor in.
Wine decanters aren’t just for storing wine. It can also be used for serving wine. They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, and are usually made of glass so it could be easily handled. They are ornately design and with a stopper lid which may have a hand in the decanting process.
