I used to have a colleague who loved collecting antiques. Every time we sat down and talked, he’d always mention his travels and the antiques that he acquired during those times. At first I didn’t believe him, but when we went to his house for his mother’s funeral, I was very surprised at what I saw.

His house really was filled with antiques. From antique brass table lamps to old phonographs and picture frames, the house was a collector’s gold mine. It was like walking through a museum. I couldn’t stop staring at the phonograph which was still somewhat working. I imagine that if he’d make a fortune if he sold everything.
